Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and basic equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and solve electrical and mechanical problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and hydraulics/pneumatics.
  • Perform machine tear-down and rebuilds, as well as install and verify new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with electrical, hydraulics, programming, and mechanical PLC.
  • Experience in manufacturing, particularly in the food plant or pharmaceutical industry, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in machine elements, pipe fitting, instrumentation, hydraulics/pneumatics, and shop safety.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with PLCs.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with GMP and safety regulations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to complete and pass a skills assessment.
