About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant Trainee.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents.

  • Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
  • Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
  • Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
  • Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill
  • A passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
