Position Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical evaluations and document patient medical histories.
- Identify and manage acute medical conditions and injuries.
- Request and analyze diagnostic tests, as well as prescribe appropriate medications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to create and execute effective treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families about acute health issues and available treatment options.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Engage in clinical rounds, case discussions, and team meetings.
- Master's degree in nursing with a focus on Acute Care.
- Valid VA nursing license or eligibility for licensure.
