Job Summary

The University of California seeks a highly skilled Data Manager/MedHub Superuser to support the Graduate Medical Education (GME) team in ensuring compliance with ACGME institutional and program requirements. The successful candidate will provide expertise in data analysis, survey research, and data visualization to drive institutional change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and analyze current and new instruments for GME evaluations and surveys
  • Provide measurement expertise to training program leadership in consideration of ACGME requirements and milestones
  • Train program staff on the use of the MedHub residency management system for creating evaluations, reports, and other functions
  • Support the GME efforts in managing data input and output from the MedHub system
  • Collaborate with other offices to obtain information and data needed for evaluation and quality improvement functions
Requirements
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and survey research in an applied setting
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading to produce reports and data analysis
  • Experience preparing and presenting actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Advanced technical literacy in the Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI and Tableau
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in statistics, data science, or related fields
  • Aptitude for story-telling and creative display and presentation of data
  • Experience with MedHub or other residency management software platforms
