Job Overview

Knowhirematch is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Controls Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on low/medium voltage motor control systems and Siemens/Rockwell drive systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using PLC interfaces to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and contribute to the development of safety and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Strong physical capability to work in a manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Experience with NFPA 70E/NEC safety standards and the ability to read electronic/electrical drawings.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting with controls automation, electrical/mechanical repairs, and PLC interfaces.
  • Knowledge of PLC logic, industrial automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and systematic troubleshooting.
