DevOps Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Automation Engineer to join our team at GDIT. As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for automation in SD-WAN provisioning, configuration management, traffic engineering, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implementation plans for integrating SD-WAN automation into existing DevOps workflows and toolchains.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored to SD-WAN environments to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for SD-WAN configurations and policies.
- Configure and manage SD-WAN controllers, orchestrators, and edge devices within CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and reliable SD-WAN deployments.
- Implement version control and automated testing mechanisms for SD-WAN configurations and changes.
- Ensure compliance, security, and consistency of SD-WAN deployments through automated configuration management and validation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, and orchestration.
- Appropriately certified for their designated role in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, DFARS 252.239-7001, AR 25-2, or any successor policies or regulations.
- Possesses a DoD 8570.01 approved baseline certification or higher.
