Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support the Integrative Neuroscience at Dartmouth (IND) PhD program. The successful candidate will facilitate the integration of IND students into Dartmouth-Hitchcock Neuroscience research operations, educational programming, and technological and facilities access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage daily administrative functions, including faculty and student support, to ensure optimal educational and research outcomes.
  • Encourage standardization of processes and procedures, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities that support the IND program, including room reservations, ID badges, and parking permits.
  • Draft and update salary billing agreements, and coordinate graduate thesis seminars.
  • Provide administrative support to IND faculty, staff, and students.
  • Oversee recruitment activities and record keeping for new IND/D-H students.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of office procedures, including budgeting.
  • Ability to work independently, assess priorities, and organize workload.
  • Proficient with computer applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
