Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team at Vallourec - North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, evaluate, organize, and implement maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
  • Implement and support Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and coordinate with other departments to ensure effective maintenance planning.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating and maintenance procedures, and work instructions to ensure high-quality maintenance practices.
  • Analyze predictive maintenance data to ensure proper preventative maintenance activities are being conducted.
  • Lead maintenance planning and process procedure improvements using reliability tools and facilitate root-cause analysis events.
  • Manage predictive maintenance program, including Thermal Scanning, Ultrasonic, and Vibration monitoring to ensure compliance to established standards.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and environmental teams to ensure best maintenance practices are employed.
  • Perform and lead Failure Mode Equipment Analysis (FMEA's) and analyze data to prepare reports, statistics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of TPM, root cause analysis, predictive and preventive maintenance systems, and visual plant concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to plan and organize.
  • Strong leadership skills, including a strong sense of ownership and results orientation.
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing and experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to use analytical tools and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals in a team-based environment.
Education and Certifications
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
