About the Opportunity

VIRSIG, LLC is seeking an experienced Federal and State Account Executive to join our sales team. This role will play a critical part in driving the growth of our government business and expanding our presence in federal and state government markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and target new opportunities with federal and state agencies, including through RFPs, bid proposals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement officers across federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public administration, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Federal Contracts Manager, etc.) are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on government sales (federal and/or state); previous experience managing a sales team is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes, GSA schedules, SBA 8(a), OGS, federal contracting and state-level bidding processes; working knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations preferred.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $150,000 - $220,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health and welfare benefits coverage options, professional development assistance, and participation in a 401(k) plan with company match.
