Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Assist Sales Managers and Catering Managers with client needs and requests, including attending pre-planning meetings and providing updates on event details.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Event Planning: Work with clients to plan and execute events, including conferences, meetings, and social gatherings.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Sales and Catering team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Front Office, Reservations, and Banquets, to ensure a smooth and efficient event experience.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Language: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of computers and basic office equipment, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Education: College education or training in hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or catering environment, with a focus on sales and event planning.
