Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Children's Home & Aid. As a key member of our staff, you will provide comprehensive, holistic support to families with children who have special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the disabilities/mental health services program at the Scott Early Learning Center.
  • Work closely with other Early Head Start staff to ensure children receive comprehensive and integrated services.
  • Provide family-centered support to families in McLean, Tazewell, and Woodford counties.
  • Travel to Tazewell and Woodford counties to meet with families in their homes and observe classrooms at the Scott Early Learning Center in Bloomington.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • One year of experience working with children with special needs.
  • Comfortable with attending community engagements and on-site meetings.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
