Job Summary

ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, using advanced tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets ABM's high standards for quality and safety, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required, with a minimum of 5 years' experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings and industrial facilities, with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
