We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Installs, maintains, and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifies maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleans, adjusts, and repairs systems, and performs warranty services.
- Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Provides technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assists with customers' queries.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Commercial HVAC Service experience.
- Preventative Maintenance, diagnose issues on all units, troubleshooting with mechanical/electrical.
- Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required.
- 5+ years' experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
