The Administrative Support Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing essential support services to the Court Services Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Court Services Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations;
  • Process and manage court-related documents, including filing, scanning, and proofing returns;
  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Supports the Court Services Department with administrative tasks such as data entry and document management;
    • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of court proceedings and decisions;
    • Communicates effectively with stakeholders, including judges, lawyers, and litigants;
    • Utilizes technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in data entry and retrieval;
    • Follows established procedures for managing sensitive and confidential information;
    • Liaises with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and support;
    • Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns;
    • Stays up-to-date with changing laws, policies, and procedures affecting court operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • One year of work experience in an office or customer service environment preferred;
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • Familiarity with court procedures and protocols desired.

Salary Range: $34,320 - $35,692.80 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
