Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories
- Perform routine tests and screenings, such as EKGs and mammograms
- Administer medications, including vaccinations and immunizations
- Counsel patients on medication and special diets
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure top-level patient care
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Relevant medical office experience
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Advanced Phlebotomy experience
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Outlook
- One + year of experience working in a cardiologist office
- One + year EKG Experience
- One + year of previous experience as a Certified / Registered Medical Assistant
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in other roles based on business need
