Role Overview
Patterson Companies, Inc. seeks a talented Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth by developing, maintaining, and advancing accounts through regular contact with dental offices within a defined territory.

This role requires a business-minded professional who strives for organizational success, seeks career growth, and desires the ability to drive their own income potential. You will be expected to develop a practice partner mentality with doctors and staff, analyzing business needs, discussing benefits and features of equipment and technology solutions, and explaining return on investment and tax advantages.

- Developing a practice partner mentality with doctors and staff
- Maintaining accurate records for prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity
- Staying well-versed on Patterson products and services, competitive intelligence, and industry information
- Attaining and exceeding sales goals
Requirements
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years of business-to-business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning, and organization skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate
- Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals
- General computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office
