Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation and Support: Assist clients in gathering necessary documents, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Collaborate with attorneys to ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Immigration Regulations.
  • Client Communication and Coordination: Participate in extensive client communication, including answering phones and confirming appointments.
  • Case Evaluation and Advice: Evaluate clients' qualifications for various immigrant and non-immigrant visas and provide guidance on possible approaches.
  • Research and Documentation: Perform research on laws, regulations, and precedents, and prepare briefs, statements, and other documents as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: LLM, JD, or legal-related degree.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal or similar role, with a paralegal certificate a plus.
  • Language Skills: Strong writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Punctual, reliable, and customer service-oriented communication skills.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual in English and Mandarin required.
