About the Role

The Scheduling Coordinator will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, resulting in the best clinical outcomes and meeting patient needs. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting patient financial responsibility, and preparing patient charts.

  • Provides top-notch customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in-person, or electronic communication.
  • Greets patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor immediately upon arrival.
  • Answers phones promptly with a smile.
  • Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Prepares daily schedules for each provider.
  • Prepares patient charts.
  • Manages patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Assists patients as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized reception area.
  • Maintains professional relationships with referring offices.
  • Ensures confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
