Job Summary:

We are seeking a Funeral Attendant to join our team at SCI. As a Funeral Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of funeral services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up rooms for ceremonies, including arranging seating, decorations, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Copy and distribute memorial materials, such as programs and obituaries.
  • Greet and escort friends and family members of the deceased.
  • Drive family members to and from funeral services, as needed.
  • Clean and maintain vehicles used for funeral services.
  • Assist with the preparation of the deceased and casket.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work beyond standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
