Pre-Sales Networking Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting Account Managers in reaching revenue goals by providing quality pre-sales technical support and presentations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science or Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer or in a similar technical support role. You will be responsible for developing business and technical strategies, investigating prospect needs, and providing specialized technical support to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Account Managers and Regional Director to develop business and technical strategies
- Investigate prospect needs and develop a strategy to win business
- Assist Sales Teams in making tactical decisions regarding the sale
- Identify compelling events or specific business problems and offer attractive solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer or in a similar technical support role
- Strong background in Networking, NPM, APM, and Linux/Windows operating systems
- Proven pre-sales record of success and achievement
Compensation: We offer a competitive base salary, plus uncapped commission, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The job requires approximately 40-50% travel within the assigned territory and region.
