Role Responsibilities:
This position operates independently to provide physical therapy services, whether through referrals or direct patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient evaluations and creating tailored treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with established standards.
- Meeting productivity benchmarks set by the organization, focusing on access to care and quality metrics.
- Contributing to program development to address patient and community needs.
- Adapting communication and treatment approaches to suit diverse patient populations.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Licensure: A current physical therapy license in the state of practice is mandatory, or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
Skills and Competencies:

- Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient demands.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
This role involves routine exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissues. The incumbent will work in a patient care environment, directly interacting with patients and handling specimens that may carry communicable diseases. There is also a potential risk of exposure to hazardous materials within the healthcare setting.
