Job Summary

Bowlero Corp is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and preparing food, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare food in accordance with Bowlero Corp's operations manual and prep sheets.
  • Assure all food orders are prepared, presented, and delivered in accordance with Bowlero Corp's operations manual.
  • Act as a mentor to kitchen staff, training them on procedures, presentation, sanitation, and safe use of equipment and cost controls.
  • Maintain the sanitation and organization of cooking areas, storage areas, refrigeration, and serving areas according to local and Bowlero Corp guidelines.
  • Perform weekly checks on cooking and refrigeration equipment to ensure product quality and freshness.
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cooking equipment, and utensils in accordance with local and state health department laws.
  • Receive and inspect food and supply orders, ensuring products are in good condition and meet Bowlero Corp's standards.
  • Work the food line, preparing menu items and training kitchen staff to ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
  • Proactively maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
  • Assist colleagues with miscellaneous duties to prevent delays in customer service.
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries and take ownership of resolving issues.
  • Obtain certification in Bowlero Corp's specified alcohol service program within 14 days of employment and the food safety program within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs.
Requirements
  • Highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player, people developer, and knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three to five years of operational experience. Culinary or Food Management degree is a plus.
