Position Overview

We are looking for an Equity Portfolio Analyst to join our Equity Portfolio Implementation Team. This role is based in our Boston office and involves being part of a global team that supports the portfolio management efforts of our equity investment professionals. While prior experience in asset management is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams and traders to ensure the precise and timely execution of investment strategies across various client portfolios.
  • Rebalance portfolios in alignment with investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark adjustments, market fluctuations, and client guidelines.
  • Monitor portfolio positions and ensure transactions comply with client specifications.
  • Engage with multiple departments within the firm to enhance processes and reduce operational risks.
  • Track performance, risk exposures, and significant market sensitivities of portfolio positions.
  • Deliver additional value-added insights to investment teams, including risk assessments, syndicate recommendations, detailed portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, and customized portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with Investment Technology to develop and enhance tools for investment implementation and monitoring.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 0-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preferred background in the asset management industry.
  • Strong understanding of global markets and securities, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities.
  • Quantitative mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Proficiency in programming with Python is advantageous but not mandatory.
