Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager - Financial Support

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager - Financial Support to join our team at LAZ Parking Midwest, LLC. This role is responsible for assisting in various aspects of financial operations, including cash and credit card deposits, verification, and balancing.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of financial operations, including cash and credit card deposits, verification, and balancing. The successful candidate will also serve as a secondary point of contact with external parties for financial reporting and audit requests.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and submitting operating revenue reports
  • Review and reconcile operating expenses reports
  • Prepare payroll and timecard monthly reporting
  • Prepare labor usage reports
  • Perform pay station change fund filling and revenue removal and depositing
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly client reporting and payments as needed
  • Ensure all points of sales revenue collections are processed as expected
  • Assist in maintaining discrepancy documentation and follow up on unreconciled variances
  • Collect, process, and report daily cash and credit card revenue collection
  • Collect and report all revenue deposits, bank transactions, and input manual credit card transactions and research, analyze, and report variance
  • Distribute and collect change funds
  • Coordinate and conduct random audits to ensure policy and procedure compliance
Requirements
  • Ability to comprehend financial reports and work with numbers
  • Office 365 software skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn and work on proprietary application software
  • Strong customer service skills and abilities
  • Knowledge of basic accounting
  • Basic mathematic skills
  • Ability to balance revenue sales and revenue collection
  • Ability to create and process financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
