Sales Director for Wholesale Lending Opportunities

Salary
The estimated base salary for this position is $220,000 - $240,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for proposing and executing underwritten lending opportunities, evaluating feasibility, analyzing operational and financial risks, and outlining relevant disintermediation strategies. This role also involves preparing loan underwriting assessments for presentation to the Loan Underwriting Committee (LUC) and participating in bank meetings, investor interactions, and market soundings. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication abilities to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of wholesale lending operations, market trends, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools, are essential. Additionally, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or business administration, is preferred, along with relevant work experience in wholesale lending or a related field.
