POSITION TITLE: Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

REPORTS TO: Director, Service Delivery

LOCATION: This role requires presence in the designated office, with occasional travel to various operational sites as necessary.

Your Role

As a skilled Infrastructure Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the scalability, performance, and dependability of our CareStations. This position merges software engineering, systems administration, and operational expertise to develop resilient, scalable, and self-sustaining systems. You will be part of a pivotal phase in our company's growth, contributing significantly to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain CareStation infrastructure and services to guarantee optimal availability and performance.
  • Support and integrate various hardware devices utilized in CareStations.
  • Reduce emergency response times and ensure swift incident resolution.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analyses of incidents and implement corrective measures to avert future occurrences.
  • Provide on-site support and ensure hardware reliability through travel to operational sites as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external clients, and local community stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and support.
  • Engage in on-call rotations and address production incidents, ensuring timely resolutions and effective communication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Service Delivery as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a comparable role.
  • Expertise in Windows OS, IoT, device drivers, and scripting languages.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare sector is advantageous.
