The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervision: Directly manage all bar staff and trainees, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations. Responsibilities include employee training, task delegation, and ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them navigate challenges and improve job performance.

Operational Duties

To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage various operational tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Ensure that the bar and dining areas consistently meet quality standards, focusing on cleanliness, guest service, and beverage execution.
  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all bar operations, monitoring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Develop staff schedules that align with business needs while adhering to labor cost guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to minimize waste and prevent theft.
  • Place and receive bar orders, ensuring product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure product quality meets established standards.
  • Analyze bar costs and identify areas for potential savings.
  • Assist in the creation of standard recipes and beverage preparation methods.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of bar staff, providing regular performance feedback.
  • Ensure all new employees receive comprehensive training and support.
  • Adhere to established health and sanitation standards.
  • Support management with necessary administrative tasks related to bar operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and provide valid identification.
  • ServSafe food sanitation certification is required.
