Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator III to join our team at Buckhorn. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently and in teams to meet production schedules
  • Follow standard work procedures for all products made in the facility
  • Monitor PPE worn by all employees to ensure compliance with plant standards
  • Troubleshoot work-related problems using proven problem-solving techniques
  • First line QC to visually inspect parts on presses throughout the shift
  • Assist with 5S process and procedures, encouraging team members to follow 5-S practices
  • Monitor machinery and equipment to detect problems
  • Responsible for production operator relief
  • Suggest improvements in work methods and procedures by communicating directly with the shift supervisor
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three to six months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, work orders, schedules, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
