Job Description

The Consulting Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of multiple client-facing consulting projects within the Energy & Water and Construction and Engineering industries.

This includes managing financials, scope alignment, scope creep, schedule adherence, resources and margin.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead project execution, ensuring the successful implementation of the contracted services
  • Scopes, plans, and coordinates all aspects of the project and project resources utilizing standard and recommended Project Management processes and practices
  • Plans and organizes work into discrete tasks that can be implemented, tested, and refined within the constraints of project requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring alignment of staffing, forecast and overall financial budget and margin for projects
  • Communicates to and manages expectations of program stakeholders
  • Implements projects, ensuring achievement of business objectives, profitability, and quality
  • Builds relationships of trust with clients, teams, and stakeholders
  • Provide consistent creative and high quality solution leadership ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget to the customer's satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of client facing project management or implementation consulting experience leading software implementation efforts
  • Experience within the Energy & Water or Construction and Engineering software industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles
  • Comfortable working in a matrix management environment
  • Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 75 %
  • Career Level - IC4
