About the Role

Lunar Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and operation of our solar energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to various locations to conduct site assessments, install, and commission solar energy systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and installation partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and support to installation partners and internal staff on the installation and operation of our solar energy systems.
  • Perform quality audits of installation partner work and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Interpret data and report on key metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize system performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with installation partners and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the design and installation of residential solar, battery, and/or EV charging products.
  • Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license.
  • Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards.
  • Ability to interpret single line drawings, permit packages, and technical specifications for PV, ESS, and EVSE systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite.
