Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing end-to-end care for our patients, working closely with veterinarians and other medical staff to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in providing quality veterinary care, advocating for pets, and educating clients.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, using practice systems to support efficient care.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Compensation

Hourly pay rate starting at $18 - $21 / hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience.
