Job Description

Overview: The Construction Supervisor is accountable to the Project Manager / Superintendent for executing tasks essential to the timely and budget-conscious completion of new multi-family projects. Responsibilities encompass scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing the efforts of all subcontractors, while ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and punctually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fosters a culture of safety and ensures adherence to safety regulations.
  • Conducts risk evaluations and regular safety meetings to address and resolve issues identified during assessments.
  • Ensures all activities align with approved plans, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Change Orders (COs).
  • Monitors and records daily progress of work.
  • Organizes and coordinates the timely execution of tasks, including deliveries and storage needs for subcontractors, as well as daily debris removal and waste disposal.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a similar position with comprehensive knowledge and experience in the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated ability in people management with effective communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating a diverse workforce.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, adept at multitasking and quick problem-solving.
  • OSHA 10 Card / First Aid Certification is preferred.

  • Site Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Coordinator.
  • Internal and external personnel or authorities.
