Building Inspector Opportunity

NV5 is seeking a highly experienced Building Inspector to join our team in Hollywood, FL. As a Building Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects in South Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Review plans and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document findings and observations in detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve issues and ensure project completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in building inspection, forensics, and/or concrete restoration services.
  • Florida General Contractor (GC) license is a plus.
  • Engineering Degree or Architecture Degree is a plus.
  • OSHA Certification is a plus.
