Job Summary:

ABBTECH Professional Resources is seeking a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team. As a Piping Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code using AutoPipe. This includes modeling piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads. You will work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Additionally, you will coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required, and support Bechtel Construction when project transitions from Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code using AutoPipe

• Model piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads

• Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required

• Support Bechtel Construction when project transitions from Engineering

Requirements:

• BS degree with 6 years of related experience

• AutoPipe experience

• Good knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards

• Recent hands-on experience with AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis

• PE Registration

• Previous Bechtel and/or NASA project experience
