Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our high-volume restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful restaurants, with a strong focus on:

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire operation of the restaurant, including daily decisions, staff support, guest relations, scheduling, hiring, training, product quality, and cleanliness
  • Clearly lead the team, providing a supportive environment and counseling staff as needed
  • Provide employees with positive and constructive feedback and take appropriate action when necessary
  • Solve individual or departmental problems as they arise
  • Ensure employee standards are consistent through documented, timely evaluations, reviews, and discharges when necessary
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, sanitation of food products, line checks, etc. throughout shifts
  • Oversee all ordering, receiving, and inventory
  • Ensure proper operation of all restaurant equipment
  • Stay informed and current on all areas of Risk Management
  • Work with the assistant manager and shift leads on all staffing plans
  • Keep the District Manager fully informed of all matters of significance
  • Create a fun and positive working environment by building morale in all staff members
  • Perform checkout of servers and cashiers, ensuring accurate accounting for tickets, money, credit transactions, checks, marketing coupons, promo coupons, and tips
  • Prepare Labor, Food, Sales, and Inspection Reports as needed
  • Inventory all goods and products according to company procedures
  • Project and evaluate sales, labor, and food costs according to company procedures
  • Lead and develop ideas for all meetings, including weekly managers meetings, monthly staff meetings, and operations and job position training
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Manager or similar executive role
  • Strong recruiting and scheduling skills
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of restaurant management experience
  • 2 years of experience in BBQ restaurants with smoking meats
  • Driver's License
