Position Overview:

As the Director of Project Management, your primary responsibility will be to guide and develop a team of project managers while fostering strong relationships with key clients in the Facilities Management industry. This role is essential for defining project strategies, ensuring effective delivery, and improving client satisfaction in a fast-paced and impactful setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Serve as the main liaison for prominent clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are consistently fulfilled. Build and sustain strong, effective client partnerships.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of project managers. Conduct performance evaluations, provide support, and cultivate a collaborative, high-achieving team environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from planning through execution to delivery. Ensure projects are finalized on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement robust project management strategies and best practices to enhance performance and achieve successful project results.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage resource distribution, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling, to guarantee effective project implementation.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential challenges and create strategies to mitigate risks that could affect project success.
  • Client Updates: Provide clients with regular updates on project status, address any issues, and manage expectations proficiently.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine project management processes to boost overall efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on project progress, performance indicators, and other critical information to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in facilities management is highly preferred.
