Controller Position Overview
Atrium Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our financial leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities of the Controller:
  • Develop and implement financial record-keeping systems, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets reporting.
  • Establish and monitor financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and coordinate audits to provide an accurate picture of the company's financial health.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish budgets, analyze performance, and develop long-term financial strategies.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity of the company's financial data.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Qualifications for the Controller:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a controller or similar position.
  • Demonstrated expertise in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
