Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
    • Supervise accounts receivable management and provide guidance on the collection process.
    • Prepare WIP reports, create and send invoices for multiple partners, and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
    • Prepare deposits and accurately apply client payments.
    • Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Generate and analyze monthly time and billing reports for applicable departments.
  • Budgeting and Planning:
    • Develop, implement, and manage processes for financial forecasting and budgets.
    • Provide management with vital information for decision-making, participate in strategic planning, and make strategic recommendations.
    • Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience in accounting and billing in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (Master's preferred).
  • Previous experience in public accounting or other professional services firms.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
