The Senior Technical Project Manager will work closely with clients to refine technical requirements and will be responsible for overseeing these requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

This encompasses comprehensive project planning, defining scope, scheduling, and coordinating the efforts of various technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and integration processes to meet industry standards and fulfill client contracts from inception to project completion.
• Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, stakeholders, and partners (including suppliers and consultants) regarding technical project elements.
• Define, plan, and supervise system simulation and testing to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Ensure system performance and quality standards are met.
• Manage the preparation of submittal packages (e.g., DD, CD, TSA, BICE, As-built) between the group company and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the project manager to maintain clear communication regarding technical and commercial aspects of the project.
• Oversee technical interface management, including client and external supplier interactions.
• Share responsibility for project cost, timeline, and quality, evaluating the technical and financial implications of decisions.
• Work with the procurement team to create and review detailed purchase orders, ensuring technical specifications and scope are clearly defined.
• Co-manage the requirements management process, focusing on technical requirements and ensuring traceability with stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and assess the impact of technical changes on the project.
• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technical project risks.
• Review technical documentation prior to submission for client approval.
• Participate in gate/sub-gate meetings to ensure technical tasks are completed and collect lessons learned.
• Ensure the quality of final operation and maintenance documentation and training materials for customer support.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and final testing phases.
• Engage directly in the specification approval, design, production, installation, and commissioning processes throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years of combined experience in engineering, installation, commissioning, and testing of Airport BHS/ICS or similar systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing project team members and related disciplines.
• PMP Certification is required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals, with a genuine concern for team success and a strong desire to contribute to a winning team.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed, up to 50% of the time.
