This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities to provide cutting-edge therapeutic services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Engage in agency-wide training programs and in-services to stay up-to-date on best practices in art therapy and behavioral health.
- Assist in ensuring that programming schedules are conducted as required, promoting a smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Provide high-quality and timely clinical documentation, adhering to Joint Commission and regulatory agency requirements.
- Be flexible to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Active District of Columbia LGPC license, with additional certification in art therapy preferred.
- An actively licensed LICSW or LPC with additional certification in art or recreational therapy (i.e., ATR or CTRS) will be considered.
- Experience working with adult mental health and/or addictions programs.
- Experience facilitating groups and promoting effective communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and display excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, initiative, and time management skills are essential.
Salary Range: $56,000 to $69,000 Annually
