About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including traumatic injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct cognitive assessments and develop treatment plans to improve patients' cognitive function and independence
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals by AHA or Red Cross
  • DC License required
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred
