Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of the Community, ensuring optimal occupancy levels, maintaining high satisfaction among residents and staff, building a positive reputation within the community, and achieving the financial goals set forth by the organization.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and employees by addressing their needs, requests, concerns, and suggestions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Executing marketing and sales initiatives, including public relations activities, follow-ups with prospective residents, and monitoring direct sales to ensure favorable occupancy rates.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and developing staff across all departments.
  • Managing the Community to ensure profitability by surpassing budgetary and occupancy targets established by the organization.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as month-end reporting and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all billing and accounting processes (including residents, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, collections, etc.).
  • Adhering to all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as company policies governing Community operations.
  • Possessing a fundamental understanding of Fair Housing regulations.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications, strengths, and skills:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Assisted Living Administrator Certification/License is advantageous.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in senior living or multifamily residential settings, with at least three years in a leadership capacity.
  • Compliance with all state and federal training and certification requirements for the Chief Executive Officer position.
  • A valid state-specific driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
