We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Construction Manager to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and monitoring of field construction administration activities and management engineering services on projects of diverse nature.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Develop project scope and fee quotations, and assist in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
- Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, and staff to jobs. Prepare Summary Inspection Report of Daily activities. Monitor contractor progress and compare with the reviewed progress schedule.
- Project Controls: Oversee project controls, including checking contractors' controls and coordinating schedules. Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications.
- Contract Administration: Implement the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Lead the development and execution of the project management plan. Supervise and mentor team to overall project objectives.
- Client Relationship: Partner with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for mini-mega and mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA).
- 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
- Professional Engineer (PE), American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level III.
- 12 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of education, 16 years of relevant experience.
