General Superintendent Aviation Job Description

Strivector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent Aviation to lead our most complex Aviation projects from initial planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your expertise to drive safety culture and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Oversee management of subcontractors, organization of job workflow, and staff management.
  • Develop and implement work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
  • Manage project site care, custody, and control, including daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track and monitor project budget and costs.
  • Communicate key project information to owners, design teams, and governing authorities.
  • Ensure quality compliance through specifications, quality standards, and outside resources.
  • Support project closeouts by supervising pre-punch activities and coordinating with owners, architects, and governing authorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred).
  • 12+ years construction experience, with 10+ years of field supervision experience in Aviation projects.
  • Lean principles experience a plus.
