Astrix Technology, a prominent player in the medical device sector, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a global organization renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and evaluations of incoming materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
  • Execute assigned tests on materials and products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using various tools and electronic equipment.
  • Carry out detailed inspections as necessary to assess product quality and remove defective items from circulation.
  • Alert management when inspection results exceed acceptable thresholds or when significant quality issues arise.
  • Document inspection results and report the number of defects identified.
  • Complete standardized inspection documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations regarding the disposition of questionable products to management.
  • Place nonconforming products on hold and communicate with management to address supplier discrepancies.
  • Review and validate certification of conformance.
  • Exhibit proficiency in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong dexterity and precision in operating gauges and testing instruments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on mathematics preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with blueprint reading, including GD&T knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret and understand written instructions, including blueprints and specifications.
  • Demonstrated skill in measurement and inspection methodologies.
