Indigo Road Hospitality Group seeks a talented Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience. You will be expected to maintain high quality standards, work efficiently, and consistently deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Accurately prepare, stock, and maintain the highest quality cuisine for our guests, adhering to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, refrigeration equipment, and adhere to all DHEC regulations.
- Kitchen Closing: Close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen.
- A minimum two years' experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
- Positive energy and a willingness to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions.
- Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests.
- A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
