About the Role

As a Lead Teacher of Mandarin Chinese Education at Global Citizens Public Charter School, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students. You will lead the instruction of Mandarin Chinese in our early childhood program, working closely with colleagues to create a culturally responsive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality instructional content that meets the needs of diverse learners
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families and engage them in their child's educational journey
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine instructional strategies that support student success
  4. Assess and analyze student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience teaching in a dual language immersion setting
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and increasing linguistic and cultural proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
