Job Title: Transportation Specialist

At Hope Community Resources, Inc, we are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and assist passengers as needed, adhering to established protocols.
  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Secure wheelchairs and patients to ensure their safety during transport.
  • Implement emergency procedures as necessary, prioritizing the well-being of our clients.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Complete daily, monthly, and annual inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate transportation requests and schedule appointments with the scheduling department.
  • Transport clients safely to and from appointments, managing their needs in the community.
  • Deliver deposits to the bank and complete other errands as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a driver education course from an accredited curriculum.
  • Valid State Driver's License, with a Class D license required in Louisiana.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • At least 21 years old, with completion of defensive driving school within the last two years preferred.
