About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team at Lloyd's Register. As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance of ships and offshore installations with US and international safety and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform surveys of ships to guarantee compliance with regulations and offshore installations safety critical systems.
  • Communicate with clients, manage financial control, and provide timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor and review quality metrics for the team, suggesting and implementing recommendations for continual improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organization recognized by Lloyd's Register and/or relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship's engineer officer.
  • Preferably over three years of relevant industry experience in a local or multinational organization.
  • Certified English proficiency and fluency according to the job requirements and familiar with maritime terminology in English.
  • Ability to apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, and maintain engineering products, processes, systems, and services.
  • Understanding of technical and commercial management principles, e.g., project management, process management.
  • Displays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with colleagues in person and around the world.
