Position Overview:
Amentum is actively seeking a qualified Senior Financial Analyst to provide support for a NAVSEA Contract as part of the Readiness and Logistics Group.

The Readiness & Logistics Group serves as the Navy's technical authority on maritime readiness and logistics. This includes the development, execution, monitoring, enhancement, and training on policies and processes related to the implementation of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements across the NAVSEA enterprise.


Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:


1. Preparing, coordinating, and documenting complex financial analysis projects, including financial performance, expense tracking, return on investment, depreciation, working capital, and investment assessments.
2. Conducting analyses for forward-looking financial and business initiatives.
3. Developing forecasts and analyzing trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions.
4. Identifying competitive trends and developments, presenting findings to senior management.
5. Performing special financial and business-related studies in collaboration with other departments.
6. Creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy in recorded financial information.
7. Executing financial forecasting and reconciling internal accounts.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Capability to manage advanced, complex technical projects or business challenges requiring cutting-edge technical or industry knowledge.

- An Active SECRET US Government Clearance is mandatory.

US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
